Current Buffalo River Levels

03/17/25 – We are currently floating from Pruitt Landing to Hasty!

Recent flooding has significantly altered the riverbed around the Ponca Low-Water Bridge, causing deceptive gauge measurements at the Ponca Access.  RIVER LEVELS ARE MUCH LOWER THAN REPRESENTED.  Adjustments will need to be made by USGS in order for the gages to accurately report river level and floating conditions. Thank you for your patience as USGS works on this, as we know this web page is important to many, many people!

Black = Very Low  / Blue = Low / Green = Moderate / Yellow = High / Red = Flood Stage

Each gage is designed to reflect a specific river section’s unique gradient, so color
segments will differ in length between gauges.  River levels update @ every 5 minutes.
